The Ibom Blockchain Xperience (IBX), West Africa’s largest blockchain campaign and gathering, is set to take place March 10–14, 2026, targeting over 12,000+ participants, 200+ blockchain companies, and 60+ speakers from Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America.

IBX 2026 continues its mission to make West Africa a global blockchain hub by accelerating adoption, fostering collaboration, and demonstrating real utility beyond speculation.

The movement is fueled by the region-wide IBX Tour, which has already reached multiple Nigerian cities, onboarding thousands through grassroots engagements. The Tour recently made headlines after facilitating West Africa’s first local market cryptocurrency payment for physical goods, signaling a potential shift toward real-world adoption in the region.

Leadership speaks “We are not just creating another tech event, we are building Africa’s new digital economy,” said Orok Godspower, President of IBX. “IBX exists to connect regulators, developers, exchanges, founders, and everyday people. The mission is simple: onboard millions into blockchain through education, real-world utility, and sustainable adoption.”

He added: “West Africa has the potential to bank the unbanked, unlock global liquidity for local businesses, and shape an inclusive financial system powered by blockchain.”

IBX positions West Africa as the leading center of blockchain innovation and an emerging gateway for onboarding millions to Web3.
