The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has announced plans for the 2026 edition of ICTEL Expo, Africa’s premier platform for dialogue, collaboration, innovation, and sustainable digital development.

Scheduled to hold on Tuesday, July 28 and Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the Grand Ballroom, Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, the event will bring together policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, development partners, academia, and key stakeholders from across Africa to explore opportunities and strategies for advancing the continent’s digital economy.

With the Theme “Africa’s Next Tech Frontier: Building, Securing & Scaling Digital Prosperity,” the Expo will provide a unique platform for thought leadership, strategic engagement, business networking, investment discussions, and policy conversations aimed at accelerating Africa’s digital transformation journey.

The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry remains committed to promoting the broader business community through effective public policy advocacy, business development initiatives, and the advancement of the highest standards of corporate governance and ethical business practices.

Speaking ahead of the conference, Dr. Chinyere Almona, Director-General of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasised the significance of the Expo in fostering collaboration among critical stakeholders.

“ICTEL Expo has become a strategic platform for meaningful engagement among public and private sector leaders committed to advancing digital innovation and economic growth. As Africa continues to embrace new opportunities in the digital era, collaboration, investment, and forward-thinking policies will be essential in building resilient and prosperous economies.

ICTEL Expo 2026 will provide the environment for these critical conversations and partnerships to thrive.”

Also speaking, the ICT sectoral group Chairman, also the Committee Chairman of ICTEL Expo 2026, Segun Okuneye, described the event as a catalyst for innovation, enterprise growth, and regional cooperation.

“The future of Africa’s prosperity will be increasingly driven by innovation, technology adoption, and strategic partnerships. ICTEL Expo 2026 offers stakeholders an opportunity to exchange ideas, explore emerging opportunities, strengthen business relationships, and collectively shape the future of the continent’s digital economy.

We are thus excited about the calibre of participation expected from across Africa and beyond.” Okuneye said.

The two-day event is expected to feature keynote addresses, high-level panel discussions, exhibitions, networking sessions, business matchmaking opportunities, and presentations by leading organizations and innovators driving Africa’s economic and digital transformation.
