    AIT announces scholarships for international students in ECOWAS region

    In a groundbreaking move to foster academic excellence and empower the next generation of leaders, Accra Institute of Technology (AIT) has declared its commitment to providing generous scholarships for potential international students within the ECOWAS Region to boost regional educational mobility.

    Professor Clement Dzidonu, the President of AIT, said that the esteemed university is thrilled to announce the implementation of half and full-tuition fee scholarships, creating unprecedented opportunities for bright minds to pursue their dreams of higher education.

    “Recognizing the importance of quality education and the impact it can have on individual lives and society as a whole, AIT’s management, in consultation with its Board of Trustees, has made the decision to establish these merit-based scholarships”, Prof. Dzidonu said.

    The initiative aims to attract exceptional international students from diverse backgrounds who demonstrate remarkable academic achievements and possess a strong commitment to personal growth and community development.

    Half Tuition Fees (50%) Scholarship: Empowering Excellence

    The Half Tuition Fees Scholarship is designed to reward exceptional academic achievements. It will cover 50% of the tuition fees for selected undergraduate and postgraduate programs across various disciplines offered by AIT.

    Aspiring scholars who demonstrate outstanding academic records, impressive leadership skills, and a dedication to making a positive impact in their chosen fields will be eligible to apply.

    Full Tuition Fees (100%) Scholarship: Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders

    The Full Tuition Fees Scholarship represents AIT’s firm belief in nurturing future leaders. This scholarship program will provide full coverage of tuition fees for the most promising students who exemplify academic excellence, extraordinary leadership potential, and a commitment to driving positive change in their societies.

    Which programmes are available?

    Bachelor’s Degree Programmes in:

    1. Information Technology with options in Network Systems, Web  Development &  Engineering, Multimedia Systems  and Software Development
    2. Computer Science
    3. Electrical and Electronic Engineering
    4. Computer Engineering
    5. Civil Engineering
    6. Business Administration with Option in Accounting and Finance, E-commerce, HRM and IT, Entrepreneurship and IT, Banking and Finance and IT, Marketing and IT.
    7. Bachelor of Occupational Safety and Health Risk Management (BOSH)

    Master’s Degree Programmes:

    —  Master of Business Administration (MBA)

    —  Master of Project Management (MPM)

    —  Master of Information Technology (MIT)

    —  Master of Occupational Safety and Health Risk Management (MOSH)

    Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Programmes

    —  PhD in Information Technology

    —  PhD in Business Administration

    —  PhD in Education

    Who Qualifies?

    The scholarship is open to all international students within the ECOWAS region at all levels who meet the minimum entry requirements for all the AIT programmes from Bachelor’s, Master’s to PhD.

    Prospective international students who wish to apply for these prestigious scholarships must possess exceptional academic records with strong performance in previous studies, demonstrate leadership qualities and extracurricular achievements and more importantly exceptionally pass the AIT Scholarship Aptitude Test (A-SAT)
