The Africa Data Centres (ADC) has broken ground on its new facility in Nairobi, Kenya, giving a timeline that the project, which will expand its existing data centre by up to 15MW of IT load will be completed in the first half of 2024. In a bid to deter unapproved lottery and gaming practices on telecommunications platforms through information and intelligence sharing, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has decided to sign a revised Memorandum of Understanding with the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC). The Cyber Security Experts Association of Nigeria (CSEAN), an umbrella body of all cyber security professionals in Nigeria has highlighted all the factors that will contribute to 2023 cyber security threats in the country.
