The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) is today, starting a weeklong critical public enlightenment event to underscore the importance of Data privacy in a digital economy. Disclosing this in a statement, NITDA said the public awareness programme becomes necessary owing to the impact of Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) on Nigeria’s digital economy pursuit. Team Earth has emerged from the InterswitchSPAK 2.0 Innovation Challenge, which was organized to spark innovation among the youths, especially teenage students. Team Earth is a group of nine collaborated to identify a problem in the agricultural value chain in Nigeria leveraging technology. Some Nigerians have applauded the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) for activating and implementing Emergency Communications Centre (ECC) project in 17 states, including Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital.
