    Dr. Krishnan appointed honorary Vice President of GCIDA for Nigeria

    Dr. Krishnan Ranganath, Regional Executive – West Africa & Morocco at Africa Data Centres (ADC), has been appointed Honorary Vice President – Nigeria of the Global Council for Indian Diaspora Affairs (GCIDA).

    The appointment was announced by Santosh G of Indian Diaspora Affairs, who expressed confidence that Dr. Krishnan’s expertise in digital transformation, data localization, and AI-driven business re-engineering across Africa will be invaluable in fostering collaboration between India and Africa.

    Santosh G emphasized Dr. Krishnan’s crucial role in strengthening GCIDA’s initiatives in Africa, fostering bilateral trade, and driving impactful tech partnerships.

    Dr. Krishnan responded to the appointment by pledging to strengthen the African business ecosystem through GCIDA, a leading global organization focused on building stronger relationships between India and its diaspora worldwide.

    “My role will be to help strengthen collaboration for individuals, organizations, and institutions that will ultimately contribute and create value for the Indian diaspora community in Africa,” he said.

    Dr. Krishnan is a distinguished leader in the Data Centre, Cloud, and ICT industries with over three decades of experience. His leadership at ADC has been instrumental in advancing digital transformation, data localization, and AI-driven business re-engineering across the continent.

    He has a proven track record of establishing multiple data centers and building and managing high-impact technology infrastructure. His expertise includes business planning, P&L management, product development, market expansion, and digital innovation.

    He is also a visionary leader in incubating startups and transforming them into formidable players in high-growth markets. Dr. Krishnan’s contributions to the African ICT sector have been widely recognized, solidifying his status as a key architect of Africa’s digital evolution. Having spent nearly two decades in Africa, he deeply values India’s tech ecosystem and sees immense opportunities for cross-border business collaborations.
