Infobip is leveraging Google Vertex AI, a machine learning platform, to create intelligent and engaging conversational experiences to offer businesses a powerful way to connect with customers through chatbots on Rich Communication Services (RCS) messaging.

This partnership has become necessary going by the growing popularity of RCS messaging, which offers features like images and videos. Today, businesses are seeking ways to personalize their interactions with customers. Infobip’s integration with Google Vertex AI fills this need by allowing companies to build chatbots that can handle a wide range of tasks, from answering questions to processing transactions.

According to Ivan Ostojić, Chief Business Officer at Infobip, this integration builds on Infobip’s existing efforts in conversational AI, such as their AI Hub platform. He believes that by combining their expertise in omnichannel messaging with Google’s machine learning capabilities, Infobip provides businesses with a powerful tool to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

“This integration allows businesses to create unique conversational experiences that set them apart from the competition,” he said.

This development significantly improves over traditional chatbots, which often require users to navigate through complex menus or struggle with limited understanding.

By leveraging AI, Infobip’s solution empowers businesses to:

    • Automate processes: Reduce the need for human intervention in routine tasks, freeing up staff to focus on more complex customer interactions.
    • Provide personalized support: Offer customers tailored experiences based on their past interactions and preferences.
    • Increase engagement: Keep customers engaged with the brand by offering a more interactive and informative communication channel.

Benefits of RCS Chatbots with Vertex AI

    • Intelligent chatbots: Handle a wider range of inquiries and tasks than traditional chatbots.
    • Unified experience: All customer interactions can be managed within a single RCS messaging thread.
    • Versatility: Potential applications include data analysis, personalized recommendations, image recognition, and even travel assistant functionalities.
