Interswitch’s Technovation 3.0 Hackathon once again showcased the boundless potential of Africa’s tech ecosystem. The event, which took place recently, brought together some of the brightest minds in technology, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving to compete for top honors and significant seed funding.
After days of intense coding, brainstorming, and prototyping, a panel of expert judges selected the top three teams based on their innovative ideas, technical prowess, and potential for real-world impact.
The Winners:
- Skoot Labs: This team took home the grand prize of N5 million for their innovative child-friendly mobile banking and savings platform. Skoot Labs aims to empower young children with financial literacy and secure savings for their future.
- Technovate: The first runners-up, Technovate, secured N3 million for their all-in-one solar inverter system. This solution promises to provide clean and affordable energy to both rural and urban communities.
- FusionBuild: The second runners-up, FusionBuild, received N2 million for their project that aims to revolutionize credit access for salary earners in Nigeria.
