Bus-hailing service provider, PlentyWaka has announced a slight increase in their bus fares on all routes within Lagos State, starting from Monday, 11th of January, 2021.

The increase, according to the company is to allow them to keep up with the maintenance of their vehicles, improve their services and continue to sustain the high cost of daily operations.

“There will be a slight increase in our bus fares on all routes within Lagos State. We understand that this might involve you adding a little extra to the funds in your Wakapurse, but do not be alarmed as this is just a slight increment from the regular charges we have had before,” PlentyWaka announced in a special message from Johnny Enagwolor, President and Co-Founder.

While urging riders to bear in mind that all of this is to ensure that it continually give them the best “Plentywaka experience” in the new year, the message noted that it tried its best not to increase the fare because it understands the times.

However, to keep the company running and give the best of services, the slight increase becomes inevitable.

Meanwhile, PlentyWaka has also announced the re-opening of the CMS to Sangotedo route. This means that riders can now order a ride from CMS to Sangotedo and back starting on the 11th of January, 2020 using the Plentywaka App.
