The partnership between Seerbit, a payment solutions provider and Paypal is set to strengthen cross-border digital trade across Africa, Omoniyi Kolade, Chief Executive Officer of SeerBit has declared.
The partnership was announced earlier today to enable merchants across its supported markets to accept payments directly from PayPal users at checkout.

Through this integration, customers shopping on SeerBit-powered platforms can now choose PayPal alongside cards, bank transfers, and mobile money, while allowing merchants to manage all transactions in one place. The feature enhances buyer confidence, reduces cart abandonment, and improves conversion rates; all key factors in global e-commerce success.
This integration comes at a crucial time when cross-border digital trade across Africa is accelerating, fuelled by rising internet adoption, a surge in e-commerce activity and growing demand for frictionless online payments.
