The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has disclosed that over 80 million Nigerians can presently access high-speed Internet services as part of the milestones the industry has recorded. A report conducted by Surfshark, a cybersecurity company has revealed how Nigeria and four other countries in Africa pledged to uphold free internet in the 2021 UN resolution but broke their words by imposing 16 restrictions.
