A new survey conducted by Egress with 500 cybersecurity leaders from the US, UK, and Australia who have deployed Microsoft 365 in their organizations has shown that 72% of cybersecurity leaders are worried about the use of AI in email phishing attacks. The Nigerian Communications Commission’s Computer Security Incident Response Team (NCC-CSIRT) has given some recommendations on how to avoid malware associated with AI-generated YouTube videos. The NCC-CSIRT had in its advisory warned those looking to acquire pirated software and resources that they risk becoming victims of cybercriminal gangs that are using AI-generated YouTube videos to distribute malware.
