    Comercio partners eFortresses for Cyber Security And Cloud Conference

    Comercio Limited, an ICT Solution Company, has sealed a partnership deal with eFortresses CloudeAssurance & HISPI for its flagship programme – International Cyber Security & Cloud Conference.

    Scheduled to hold at the Four Point by Sheraton, Oniru Beach Estate, Lagos on 4th of October, 2019, the international conference is tagged: ‘The Business of Cyber Security & Cloud in 21st Century Nigeria.’

    Speaking to Journalists in Lagos, the Group Managing Director of Comercio Limited, Mrs. Aderonke Adeyegbe, disclosed that the conference will be anchored by the company’s business partners and global cyber security experts.

    She said the conference will attract experts such as Mr. Taiye Lambo, Founder & CTO of eFortresses CloudeAssurance, HISPI, and former CISO of the City of Atlanta, Georgia, USA, along with other seasoned leaders in the Cyber Security area of interest such as Rakiya Mohammed, CIO, CBN; Mitchell Elegbe, Founder/ GCEO Interswitch Group; Opeyemi Onifade, Director Afenoids & Former CISO, Galaxy, Backbone; Basil Udotai, Managing Partner, Technology Advisors LLP; Dr. Segun Aina, President FinTechNGR & African FinTech and Chairman, Global Banking Education Standards Board (GBESTB).

    Other Panelist at the event are Hakeem Adeniji-Adele, DMD eTranzact, Ife Oyedele, Co-Founder Kobo360, Olusola Teniola, MD/ CEO, Phase3 Telecom, Ikechukwu Nnamani, MD/ CEO, Medallion, Muyiwa Ogungboye, MD/ CEO of e.Streams Networks, Dimie Wariowei, Director Cyber Security, NITDA and Oyaje Idoko, MD/ CEO of Layer3 to represent different sectors.

    The experts will be speaking on and addressing business pain-points such as Cyber Security as the No. 1 external threat to Nigeria businesses; Security and privacy concern as a barrier to the adoption of Public cloud in Nigeria and the impact of the Instability of the Nigeria Power and Telco Infrastructure on the astronomical cost of operating on-premise servers for both commercial and government sectors.

    Other areas to address are the issue of sovereign Integrity for sensitive information stored in public cloud needs, stressing that the commercial and public sector is lagging behind from a Technology standpoint.

    Already, the program has been endorsed by: CSEAN, ATCON, NIRA, FinTechNGR and American Business Council.

    Expected participants at the Conference include: Managing Directors/ Chief Executive Officers (MD/ CEOs), Chief Operating Officers (COOs), Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), Chief Risk Officers (CROs), Presidents & Executive Secretaries of Associations, Director Generals of Government Agencies amongst others.
